After 6 years, we are finally getting a new version of Windows operating system. Windows 10 came out in 2015. Now, we are expecting an update to Windows 11 later this year. The beta version is available now if you want to try it out.
Windows 11
Bill Gates announced the update on June 24th. Typically, a new version of Windows is released about every 5 years. The new update will be available for all compatible PCs. First, like with all Windows updates, the layout design will change to reflect a more modern look. The new Windows aims to help users multitask. Therefore, it will feature a unique app layout to help you work more efficiently. Much like with the start menu, there will be a menu of open apps and tabs. Another much-needed organizational feature is the widgets. Other personalization features will be upgraded, such as theme options. Also, it promises to update its gaming functions, allowing users to stream Call of Duty in better quality. The update will benefit business professionals, gamers, and everyday general users.
Get Ready for the Upgrade
As you probably guessed, this means Microsoft Office will receive an update too. Again, there is no official release date, but we will let you know as soon as we find out. Some of this information is subject to change as Microsoft finalizes the Windows 11 design. In the meantime, use the PC Health app to make sure your current PC is ready.
